Nauru refugees urged to dress and act more like sharks

When asked about how they felt about wearing the shark suits one refugee stated that “it wasn’t too bad, and that she just assumed it was the Australian version of the hijab.”

In a stunning piece of Churchill esque like strategy, Richard Di Natale, has invigorated the debate around off shore detention, by outlining the Greens new strategy on changing the narrative around boat people.

He has advised that the new strategy will bring Australians out on the street and will affect political change like no other. He confirmed that he has urged refugees on Nauru to dress and act more like sharks in order to fit in, because Australians have more empathy towards the lives of sharks, then human beings who arrive by boat.Di Natale SharkWhen asked about how they felt about wearing the shark suits one refugee stated that “it wasn’t too bad, and that she just assumed it was the Australian version of the hijab.” Mr Di Natale said, “if Pauline Hanson can tell brown people what to wear, I sure as hell can do the same.”

In what seems to be the start of a policy war on refugees, the coalition government has advised that they will be contacting the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty towards Animals) in order to set the bench mark for protection of refugees. Mr Dutton outlined the new initiative and commented that “Australia has the highest standard of animal protection, and this level of protection will be extended to refugees on Nauru.”
